Our vaccine protocols are based on the most current research, and follow the guidelines established by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).
We currently recommend a series of 3 vaccines, including:
- RABIES VACCINE: Required every 2 years. Rabies vaccinations are required by law. Vaccination is the best prevention for this untreatable disease, which is also a risk to your family.
- DHPP VACCINE: Recommended every 3 years. Distemper causes fatal pneumonia and brain disease, which is also a risk to your family.
- BORDATELLA VACCINE: Recommended yearly. A bacterial infection of the upper respiratory system that can lead to chronic bronchitis or pneumonia. All dogs using a kennel, groomer, or that may require hospitalization, are required to have this vaccine.
